Black Queens striker Princella Adubea has won the Israeli Women's League with Kiryat Gat.

The Ghanaian female footballer played a pivotal role as Kiryat Gat successfully defended their title with five games remaining.

Adubea scored and provided an assist in the game against Maccabi Hadera as Kiryat Gat were confirmed champions.

"We are the Champions Of Israel. Scoring a goal and assisting in our last league game," she wrote on Twitter after the match.

Adubea created the opener which was scored by Michaelit Workou in the 75th minute before sealing victory with a ferocious strike.

The Black Queens striker joined the Israeli outfit in 2022 and has since been an integral member of the team.

"WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS. Third in a row! Fifth in total! We have a championship! Kiryat Gat is the state champion for the 2022/23 season," wrote the club on Facebook.

Kiryat Gat will represent Israel in the Women's Champions League next season.

The female senior national football team of Ghana, the Black Queens will not be at next year's Africa Women's Cup of Nations after failing to beat Nigeria.

The Black Queens needed three unanswered goals to earn qualification to the tournament in Morocco next year but managed to score only one in the slim win in Accra on Sunday, October 24, 2021.

In photos posted on Twitter by Dada Oliseh, sighted by Sports Brief, players of the Black Queens were heartbroken by the result, knowing they will have to wait for another two years to try again.
