Kaizer Chiefs is currently confident when it comes to facing Orlando Pirates in any competition.
Chiefs players were seen celebrating being drawn against Pirates in this season's Nedbank Cup semifinals. Why shouldn't they be happy, they have beaten their Soweto arch-rivals in five official matches.
The Amakhosi's football manager said in reaction to the draw according to IOL:
“Well it's a great draw, every team deserves to be in the semi-final and it's going to be a good semi-final. I think for us it's good to play Pirates, we can't say we wanted them in the final or where we choose, this is the right time to play them and there's no other time.”

Amakhosi struggle past Royal AM
As reported earlier, Chiefs scored a penalty in extra time to beat Royal AM 2-1 in a Nedbank Cup quarterfinal at Chatsworth Stadium on Sunday.
Royal AM was looking to reach the semifinals for the second year running, while Chiefs sought to take a step closer to lifting the trophy for the first time since 2013.
Mako's spying criticised
Elsewhere, Paseka Mako was a busy man during another absorbing Nedbank Cup quarterfinal encounter, as was reported by Sports Brief.
The Orlando Pirates player was seen spying on Dondol Stars during one of their team huddles in a water break.
His actions were criticised by former FIFA referee Ace 'VAR' Ncobo.
