With Mane's poor performances for the side also on everyone’s mind, jokes have started to do the rounds that Bayern signed the wrong player from Liverpool.
As reported by Bavarian Football Works, there is a running joke at the side that they signed his twin brother instead.
Mane was brought in from the English Premier League side for €32 million, which was seen as a good bit of business at the time after Robert Lewandowski’s departure. The former Bayern talisman left the club to join Barcelona.
The Senegalese star has since played 32 games for the side, scoring 11 goals and notching just five assists, Transfermarkt reported.
With Thomas Tuchel now at the helm, Mane is seen as surplus to requirements and rumours are already doing the rounds that the club could try and sell him in the summer.
