Frank Lampard has singled out two Chelsea stars who impressed him despite his side's humiliating defeat against Brighton.
Lampard has endured a difficult start to life in his second stint as Blues' boss, with his charges suffering defeats in all three matches he has been in charge of.
The legendary midfielder was named Chelsea's caretaker boss after the departure of Graham Potter and has already led the west Londoners to three straight defeats.
Lampard kicked off his second spell with a 2-0 shock loss against Aston Villa and followed up the defeat with another against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The former Everton boss was hoping to lead his charges back to winning ways when they hosted Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, April 14.
However, the 2021 Champions League winners fell to a 2-1 loss against the Seagulls, with goals from Danny Welbeck and Julio Enciso sinking the hosts.
Despite the defeat, Metro UK reports Lampard still had some positives to pick from the result.
The Englishman singled out both Kepa Arrizabalaga and Conor Gallagher for praise, suggesting that they are the only two players who impressed the most.
"Kepa was fantastic. Conor Gallagher was another who gave every drop individually," Lampard told BBC's Match of the Day.
"But collectively, as a group, we have to accept it. We have to accept what needs to be done to play for this club and try to win games," he added.
Boost for Chelsea as Lampard clears 3 players ahead of Real Madrid clash
FootballEarlier, Sports Brief reported Chelsea fans were utterly displeased by their team's performance in the 2-1 home loss to Brighton, and they made it clear towards co-owner and chairman Todd Boehly.
It was the third straight loss for caretaker manager Frank Lampard, who replaced the sacked Graham Potter until the end of the season while the search for a new manager continues.
As spotted by Twitter user @CFCPys, some fans who sat directly above the directors' box at Stamford Bridge exchanged words with the LA Dodgers owner in what looked like an unfriendly affair.
