Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has jumped to the defence of beleaguered winger Sadio Mane after his dressing room fight with teammate Leroy Sane.
The Senegalese forward punched the Germany winger after an argument following Bayern Munich's defeat to Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final at the Etihad.
Mane has been suspended by Bayern Munich and is out of the squad to face TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the game, Tuchel admitted Mane was wrong to hit his teammate but stands by the winger during this tough period.

“I'm here to defend Mané. I've known him for a very long time and only know him as an absolute professional. I also know his entourage. He has never been guilty of anything," he said, as quoted by Supersport.
“It was against the code of conduct, he recognized it and apologized.
"He is football pure. He has my deepest trust after the mistake he made.
"Everyone can make a mistake. It went against the team's code of conduct. That's clear."
Mane's return to the squad remains in limbo as Bayern are yet to confirm the length of his suspension.
The former Liverpool star moved to Germany in the summer transfer window after six successful years at Anfield.

Leroy Sane reportedly left the Etihad Stadium with a bruised lip following a dressing room fight with Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane.
The Bayern Munich winger was reportedly attacked by Mane after the defeat to Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg.
According to GOAL, the 31-year-old former Liverpool forward struck the Frenchman in the face, after an argument which started on the pitch and ended in the dressing room.
