"Penaldo is a poison to teams and coaches. How can a player think he is bigger than his coach?"

"That's why no coach wanted him in Europe."

Garcia sacked as Al-Nassr boss

As a result of his allegedly troubled relationship with Ronaldo, Garcia has reportedly been fired from his position as manager of Al-Nassr.

Less than a year after taking the helm at the Saudi Arabian club, reports from the country claimed the French tactician had been told to go.

According to the Spanish publication, Marca, a fight with his players in the dressing room led to the 59-year-old's dismissal from the job.

Al-Nassr's dwindling fortunes since Ronaldo

Sports Brief also reported on Ronaldo's impact at Al-Nassr since joining from Manchester United, compared to the team's recent form.

The 38-year-old joined the Saudi Arabian league giants at the tail end of 2022 amid the fallout of his interview with Piers Morgan.

When Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr, they were at the top of the Saudi Pro League table by a point but have since lost ground in the race.
