FootballKyle Walker Names His Toughest Opponents Ever, Includes Sadio Mane
- Kyle Walker has been among the best right backs in world football for nearly a decade
- However, like any other player, Walker also struggles against world class opponennts
- The England international recently named the players that give him nightmares, and it includes former Liverpool star Sadio Mane
Kyle Walker recently raised eyebrows as he named the three toughest players he has ever come up against.
The Sheffield-born right back is known for his pace and power, and not many attackers could get past him in his prime.
At the moment, Walker seems to have fallen down the pecking order at Manchester City, but it mostly has to do with the fact that Pep Guardiola is changing his tactics.
Since joining Tottenham, Walker rose up the ranks due to his efficiency in right back, both in attack and defence.

Manchester City eventually took up his services and he has since then won four Premier League titles, which have all come in the last five years.
Who are Walker’s toughest opponents?
Because of his brilliance on the right back position, one can be forgiven to think Walker does not struggle against some players.
But that is far from the truth as the star recently opened up to BBC about players who have given him a tough time over the years.
"First of all, I would say (Eden) Hazard. We’ve had some good battles at Tottenham, you know, Tottenham v Chelsea. He was really tough to mark, and sometimes I got the better of him, sometimes he got the better of me.” He said.
"Second, I would say (Sadio) Mane. Again, you know, being at Manchester City, I’ve had some great rivals with Liverpool and coming up against him was always tough. You know, so skillful, worked really hard for the team, and also, you know, chipped in with a lot of goals, sometimes against me."

Pep Guardiola appears to end Walker’s Man City career
Sports Brief also reported on how Pep Guardiola subtly hinted Kyle Walker would struggle to fit into his team at the moment.
The Citizens’ shape has been transformed in recent weeks, with John Stones being played as an auxiliary central midfielder in a slight tweak to the inverted full back, a tactic that Guardiola has become accustomed to in recent weeks.
"He (Walker) cannot do it. To play inside you have to make some educated movements," Guardiola said in the build up to the Southampton game.
