Salah misses penalty
Liverpool had a chance to draw level when they won a penalty shortly after the restart, only for Salah - who stepped up to take it - to strike the post.
ESPN reports that Klopp decided against watching his star take the spot kick, with the German tactician opting to face the crowd.
Evidently, the Liverpool boss wanted to learn the fate of the penalty from the fans, only for Salah to disappoint him.
Fortunately for the hosts, Roberto Firmino came off the bench to earn them a precious and well-deserved point.
The match had looked set to be another Reds loss before Firmino found the back of the net with three minutes left on the clock.
Liverpool remain eighth in the standings, with Arsenal still topping the charts, albeit with only a six-point lead over Manchester City.
