Romelu Lukaku was the centre of attention during Inter Milan's Serie A clash against Salernitana on Friday night, April 7.
The Belgian ace was part of Inter's starting XI as Inter sought to return to winning ways after a three-game winless run in the Italian top-flight.
According to the Daily Express, Inter were hopeful of leapfrogging rivals AC Milan during their trip to Stadio Arechi.

However, they were unable to take advantage of their dominance and were eventually punished at stoppage time when the hosts equalised following Andre Onana's howler.
While Onana's goalkeeping blunder was a major talking point, Lukaku also found himself on the receiving end.
This after the Chelsea loanee missed a golden goalscoring chance to double Inter's lead.
According to GiveMeSports, there was an extraordinary sequence of events in the 64th minute when it looked almost certain that Lukaku would score when the ball fell kindly to him two yards out.
The Belgium striker stooped low to meet the ball, only for him to hit the bar with the goal at his mercy.
His astonishing miss left fans in shock, with some taking to social media to mock the ex-Man United star.

At the same time, Sports Brief reported the Chelsea striker, on loan at Inter, expressed his outrage on Instagram after the incident.
He used the phrase 'history repeats itself', referring to a similar incident in 2019 when Cagliari fans aimed racist slurs at him.
Lukaku expressed hope the league would take action this time around to ensure the beautiful game would be enjoyed by all.
