Kylian Mbappe’s recent criticism of Paris Saint-Germain has not gone down well with a French World Cup winner.
Mbappe criticised the French club over their recent promotional video, which heavily featured the attacker.
As noted by Marca, Mbappe released a statement via social media in which he took aim at the club for focusing more on him than the team as a whole.
“PSG is a big club and a big family but it is especially not Kylian Saint-Germain," he said.

The video, which was made to promote season tickets for the new season, didn’t feature players like Neymar, Sergio Ramos or club captain Marquinhos. Lionel Messi was only briefly seen in the promotional material.
You can watch the video below. PSG have since removed it from the club's accounts.
However, French World Cup winner Christophe Dugarry doesn’t believe Mbappe should have taken his grievances to social media, Football Espana reported.
“The club should have warned him about the video, okay, but do you think a message on social networks is worth it? You can call your board and solve it internally”, Dugarry said.
“He could have called his president instead of sending a message on networks that will go around the world. It’s clumsy, not elegant,” he added.
Dugarry, who played 55 times for the French national team, said that Mbappe needed to stop with his ego and focus instead on performing for the team.

FootballDuggary added that the players were getting paid crazy amounts to play for the squad, so they should stick to that.

Kylian Mbappe is unhappy with Paris Saint-Germain at the moment.
The club recently released a new campaign to promote ticket sales for the 2023/24 season, but their video features Mbappe more than anything else.
