  • Chelsea were condemned to a 2-0 defeat during their Premier League meeting vs Aston Villa
  • Goals from Ollie Watkins and John McGinn were enough to see off the Blues at Stamford Bridge
  • The west Londoners' defeat saw them drop to 11th in the Premier League standings

Thiago Silva's wife Isabelle has expressed her disbelief with the situation at Stamford Bridge following Chelsea's latest defeat.

The Blues have been struggling for results for the better part of the season, with the arrival of Graham Potter not impacting the situation as much.

Potter, who succeeded Thomas Tuchel back in September has been unable to steady the ship despite the heavy investment made by new owners in terms of signings.

While the west Londoners seemed to have picked up some momentum before the international break, Potter's men hit a new low on Saturday as they were humbled by Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

Silva's wife hits out at Chelsea

Silva's wife Isabelle was clearly unhappy with Chelsea's performance as she took to Twitter to slam the club for the dismal performance.

“I don’t say anything anymore. I look at the table and we are in eleventh place, very sad… let’s get ready for Tuesday," she tweeted.

This was not the first time Isabelle had registered her disappointment with the club as she often uses Twitter to express her frustrations whenever Chelsea loses.

The Blues will now be looking to make amends when they take on rivals Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

Chelsea owner reacts to Everton draw

Sports Brief has also reported that Chelsea's co-controlling owner Todd Boehly issued a savage response at the end of the game.

Boehly was among the fans at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening and wasn't too impressed with the result. The draw ended Graham Potter's winning run of three games in all competitions.

Despite not losing the game, Chelsea will still feel hard done for dropping points to relegation candidates. Footage was reportedly taken after the game captured Boehly giving his explicit thoughts on the match
