According to The Chronicle, Chihoro was seen pouring liquid into the goals at the Mpilo End of the Barbourfields Stadium during half-time, with the match tied at 0-0.

These would be the goals that DeMbare would attack in the second stanza, with the breakthrough coming in the 75th minute of the match courtesy of Tinashe Makanda.

The article revealed there were other side-shows during the match. One involved a Dynamos fan - at the Mpilo End - jumping over the fence to steal the visiting goalkeeper, Nedrick Madeya's trademark towel inside the net, before it was burned.

At the other end, home team net-minder, Taimon Mvula's gloves were stolen by a Hwange fan in retaliation, in view of the police.

In the fallout, Chihoro is reportedly facing charges of misconduct by the ZPSL.

Royal AM staff 'doctor' pitch

Meanwhile, in South Africa, it was more of the same when it comes to the practice of witchcraft, Sports Brief also reported.

Before a Nedbank Cup encounter between Royal AM and Golden Arrows, something strange occurred on the field.

Several Royal AM staff members were seen conducting what clearly was a ritual of sorts near the goalposts and nets.

Sangoma admits to bewitching player

Sports Brief also reported on traditional healer, Gogo Maweni making sensational claims regarding a famous footballer.

She claimed she had 'bewitched' Thabo Rakhale, an ex-Orlando Pirates player, which supposedly derailed his promising career.

According to Kaya FM, she revealed all of this on the popular Point Of View With Gigi - a podcast hosted by Gigi Lamayne.
