According to Kaya FM, she revealed all of this on the popular Point Of View With Gigi - a podcast by Gigi Lamayne.

Maweni, whose real name is Lee-Ann Makopo, alleged that Rakhale spurned her because she was a sangoma, which led to her getting even with him through the use of muthi.

Admittedly, Rakhale was eventually released by the Buccaneers in 2017 after failing to impress for several seasons, eventually joining Chippa United.

He is now in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, plying his trade with North West-based club, Platinum City Rovers, as per the Daily Sun.

He has yet to respond to Maweni's sensational new claims. Also, she also makes an appearance on the increasingly popular 'Sitting With Stan' on SuperSport, delving into what allegedly happened with Rakhale further.

She is a guest of Stanley "Screamer" Tshabalala and renowned media personality Robert Marawa.

Watermelon muthi 'saved' AmaZulu

The programme Sitting With Stan on SuperSport continues to provide gold nuggets when it comes to anecdotes.

This time, it was the turn of ex-player, Gerald Modabi and the colourful but respected Sinky Mnisi to tell their tales to host, Robert Marawa and Stanley Tshabalala.

The highly colourful administrator, Mnisi revealed a hilarious anecdote, Sports Brief also reported.

Player steals oppononent's 'juju'

The Tanzanian Premier League might have provided the most ridiculous football moment of the year thus far on the African continent.

A video has gone viral, showing a scene which threatened to spiral out of control over the alleged use of juju. Sport Brief could not establish which teams were playing.

A player ran to his opponents' goals to pick up an indiscernible object, before running off towards his bench with the referee and the opposition in hot pursuit.

'Chiefs fired me over muthi'

More stories of muthi and its influence on South African (and African) football have emerged, Sports Brief also reported.

The legendary former Qwa-Qwa Stars player, Fees Moloi has stepped forward to tell his story about black magic.

He claims that a Soweto football giant railroaded him out of the club for refusing to partake in their rituals.
