Amunike wants to coach Nigeria

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Emmanuel Amunike stated emphatically that he is interested in coaching the Super Eagles adding that he is capable of changing the fortunes of the three-time African champions.

During his active days as a footballer, Amunike was one of the biggest Nigerian players in history as he played for Barcelona and was part of the Super Eagles squad that won the 1994 African Cup of Nations.

Interestingly, that same year, Amunike was also named the African Best Footballer thanks to his incredible performances for Zamalek and the national team.

Amunike explained that he wants to be in charge of the Super Eagles on his own and not as an assistant.
