Philipp Lahm has ripped into Paris Saint-Germain's attack following their disappointing exit from the UEFA Champions League.
PSG suffered yet another Champions League setback after bowing out of the competition at the round-of-16 stage at the hands of a ruthless Bayern Munich side, losing three-nil across two legs.
Interestingly, Christophe Galtier's luxury attack featuring Lionel Messi, who was named FIFA Men's Best Player earlier this month, and Kylian Mbappe failed to muster a goal after 180 minutes, Fan Nation reports.
Their disappointing exit stretches the club's search for the elusive big-eared title despite the mega-rich Qatari owners splurging the cash in assembling their current squad.

Assessing PSG's shortfall in Europe's premier club competition, Lahm, a one-time winner of the Champions League, described the Paris-based side as "exorbitantly expensive."
“This exorbitantly expensive team resemble a luxury department store, displaying precious exhibits that everyone marvels at, but no one can afford,” Lahm wrote via Mirror.
He admitted Messi and his partners-in-crime up front are world-class; nonetheless, they are not closely knit.
“Messi also showed his extra class in moments in Munich, but his skills are used without purpose or direction.”
“The individuals at PSG simply do not know how to score a goal collectively and, generally, how to contribute. Messi was helpless and desperate at the Allianz Arena.”
