Supercomputer Makes Another Prediction for Final Premier League Standings After Arsenal Opened 8 Point Lead

A supercomputer has made a fresh prediction for the final Premier League standings after Arsenal opened an eight-point gap at the top.

The Gunners have been in flawless form this season and are in a pole position to win the Premier League title for the first time in almost two decades.

The north Londoners have not tasted top-flight glory since 2004, when they won the domestic crown under the tutelage of Arsene Wenger.

However, the Mikel Arteta-tutored side have given a good account of themselves this term and look set to cart home the prestigious title.

According to Football London, Arsenal moved eight points clear at the top of the table with a comfortable 4-1 victory against rivals Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Manchester City were not involved in Premier League action during the weekend as they progressed into the FA Cup semi-finals with an emphatic 6-0 win against Burnley.

Supercomputer's Premier League prediction

Bettingexpert's supercomputer, BETSiE, has predicted how the final Premier League table will look following Arsenal's emphatic win over Palace.

The supercomputer is understood to have simulated the remainder of the season 100,000 times.

The computer took into consideration all match results from the season that have been played so far to predict the remainder of the campaign.

From the prediction, Arsenal have been backed to win the Premier League title ahead of Man City with 87.8 points.

City have been tipped to finish second with 83.8 points.

Elsewhere, Man United are predicted to finish third, with Newcastle United sealing a Champions League spot ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.

Saka sets personal best record

Sports Brief earlier reported that Bukayo Saka set a personal best record after scoring twice and providing another assist in the win over Crystal Palace.

He is now enjoying his best season in the league, having scored 11 and assisted 10 goals and also became the first player in the Premier League this season to hit double figures.

His wing partnership in the league is the best, as both youngsters have contributed to over 15 goals this season, putting them in the top five of youngsters to have done so.
