If Bayern Munich want to win the UEFA Champions League this season, they’re going to have to work for it.
The German side have been drawn to face Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the tournament and will face either Real Madrid or Chelsea in the semi-finals if they make it.
With a daunting task ahead of them, coach Julian Nagelsmann has reflected on the draw and the games that the side previously played, Bulinews reported.
"It's a good, challenging draw. You can't say we were lucky with the draw when we win the Champions League,” he said.

“The group stage was difficult. Then PSG, City and Real or Chelsea in the semis. It would be an extremely valuable triumph,” he added.
The German manager also touched on the prospect of facing Erling Haaland. The former Borussia Dortmund striker scored five goals as City beat RB Leipzig 7-0.
"He is an exceptionally good player who is extremely dangerous as we saw again recently. He has extreme quality in terms of speed and physicality. He's uncomfortable to defend,” Nagelsmann explained.
Despite the threats that Haaland poses, Nagelsmann remains confident that Munich have their own set of attacking players who could pose a threat.
Bayern’s attack features the likes of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Sadio Mane, Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman, Kingsley Coman, Leroy Sane, Thomas Müller and Mathys Tel.
