Some players at Paris Saint-Germain have nicknamed their manager Christophe Galtier 'PE teacher' and do not respect him.

Galitier is under huge pressure after PSG were swept aside by Bayern Munich at the round-of-16 stage, who won 1-0 in Paris before recording a 2-0 victory on home soil to heap huge pressure on Galtier.

And now Sportskeeda reports that the manager is already losing power within the dressing room as the Champions League elimination has only made things worse.

According to journalist Romain Molina, some players have even nicknamed that Frenchman, 'PE teacher'.

The journalist further states the players were unhappy with their manager's decision to leave out experienced attacking midfielder Carlos Soler on the bench against Bayern.

Instead, he opted to introduce three teenagers as substitutes.

After PSG's 2-1 win over Brest over the weekend, Galtier was said to have spoken to the team and made it clear that there would be consequences if they didn't bounce back from the loss.

Messi and Mbappe combine

Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe combined to a devastating effect as PSG left it late to beat relegation-threatened Brest.

The victory meant that the French side tightened their grip at the top of Ligue 1, Sports Brief reported.

The pair, who have spearheaded PSG's league title chase in the absence of Neymar, were kept at bay in midweek when Bayern Munich dumped them out of the Champions League.

PSG will focus on league

Kylian Mbappe has expressed disappointment following Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League exit on Wednesday night.

Mbappe and his PSG teammates were hoping to overturn a first-leg 1-0 deficit but ended up suffering a 2-0 defeat in the reverse fixture, bowing out of the competition with a three-nil deficit across two legs.

Sports Brief reported that Mbappe expressed disappointment while swiftly channelling his attention to the French topflight.
