Al-Nassr slip to damaging defeat

Cristiano Ronaldo tasted his first Saudi Pro League defeat since joining Al-Nassr after his side suffered a painful one-nil defeat at Al-Ittihad.

The 38-year-old had a near-perfect record since swapping Europe for the Middle East until Nuno Espirito's side gave him a reality check on Thursday evening.

In what was a top-of-the-table clash, Brazilian forward Romarinho's second-half strike proved the difference between the two top-performing sides in the Saudi top flight.

Ronaldo lasted the entire duration of the top-of-the-table clash as his side surrendered the top spot to title rivals Al-Ittihad.

In a video making the rounds on social media, seen by Sports Brief, Ronaldo was filmed shaking his head in disappointment as a teammate tried to console him.
