As revealed by the league's official website, he is the second player to win three awards in a season after Liverpool's Mohamed Salah in the 2017/18 season.
He is also the first to win the award consecutively after Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan, who won in January and February 2021.
Manchester United's official website noted that he won 47% of the votes to beat Brazilian midfielders, Casemiro and Fred to win the club's player of the month for the third consecutive time.
“It's obviously always good to be amongst the conversations. To be awarded this Player of Month, I feel like especially in the last three months, you could give it to anyone,” Rashford told MUTV after winning the award.
