Football fans were thrown into a state of frenzy as Paris Saint-Germain touched down in Munich ahead of their Champions League reverse fixture against Bayern Munich.

PSG arrived a day early in Munich as the Ligue 1 leaders seek to overturn a 1-0 aggregate score on Wednesday, March 8, at Allianz Arena.

The Parisians have gone on a three-game unbeaten run since suffering the narrow defeat against the Bavarians and are poised to upset the German giants in their backyard.

Hence it came as no surprise when a huge crowd waited with bated breath to catch a glimpse of Leo Messi and his teammates, per PSG Talk.

In a video making the rounds on social media, seen by Sports Brief, the crowd, numbering in their hundreds, chanted 'Messi' as the genius number 10 and his PSG teammates stepped out of the team bus.

Meanwhile, a confident Lionel Messi has insisted Paris Saint-Germain will push Bayern Munich all the way in an effort to finally claim the crown as kings of Europe by winning the UEFA Champions League.
