Manchester United fans have blasted Wout Weghorst after a video showed him touching the famous 'This is Anfield' sign on March 5.
Anfield was the scene of Man United's demolition by their North-West derby rivals, Liverpool during which they conceded seven goals.
With many fans still yet to come to terms with the result, attention has now focused on their January signing, who was recorded seemingly touching the sign a few minutes before the game.
The on-loan striker from Burnley touched the sacred sign as the two teams walked out on the turf.

The 'This is Anfield' sign is often considered a preserve of Liverpool players. Opposition players, especially rival players, are not supposed to touch it in one of the many unwritten rules in football rivalry.
Weghorst's actions have now generated mixed reactions, especially after he was part of the squad that could do nothing as a rampant Liverpool side handed the Red Devils their worst Premier League defeat in their history.
