FootballBruno Fernandes Severely Criticised for Attitude During Liverpool Mauling
- Martin Keown was thoroughly critical of Bruno Fernandes after United’s 7-0 defeat to Liverpool
- The ex-Arsenal star believes the Red Devils midfielder should fix his attitude or leave the club
- The Portuguese star reportedly asked to be subbed when his team was six goals down in the tie
Bruno Fernandes has been brutally told to check his attitude or leave Manchester United by former Arsenal man, Martin Keown.
Fernandes endured one of the worst afternoons as a United player on March 5, as he captained a side that went on to lose 7-0.
The midfielder has often been tasked with captaining the Red Devils, especially after Harry Maguire was relegated to the bench.
But Keown, who was part of Arsenal’s title-winning side in the past, was critical of Fernandes’ antics on Sunday, particularly off the ball.

Hawk-eyed fans also picked up on the Portuguese star's attitude, as he was constantly spotted flailing his hands every time his side conceded in the 7-0 mauling.
Fernandes was also accused of gamesmanship as he fell to the floor in an apparent injury after getting pushed in the chest.
“All of the characteristics that were evident on Sunday have been there since he came to the UK," Keown said via TalkSport.
“I can't even look at it because it annoys the hell out of me, but I try to look at what he can do rather than the things that really annoy because he has got a great talent."
Keown believes Fernandes has to decide now if he wants to be a part of the new Manchester United that Erik ten Hag is building.
“Paul Pogba was a player they had this power struggle with between him and Fernandes, and Fernandes was taking top job and came in with a new contract,” he added.

Former United defender, Gary Neville also appeared to inadvertently agree with Keown.
He was also critical of Fernandes as he watched the 28-year-old live at Anfield on Sunday.
Pundits believe the skipper is not exhibiting the leadership qualities veterans were famous for.
Nunez aims dig at Rashford
Sports Brief also reported on Darwin Nunez’s dig at Marcus Rashford after the 7-0 win on Sunday.
The Uruguayan showed why he deserves to be in Klopp's starting eleven by bagging a brace in the tie.
Fans quickly noticed Nunez celebrating with the Rashford style, which has been a hot debate this year.
