Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is annoyed with the design of the club’s 2022/23 football jersey after brandishing it as ugly and uncomfortable.
The jersey which includes a buttoned collar was produced by sportswear giants Adidas in honour of the club’s 120th anniversary this season.
According to Football Espana, Kroos was completely critical of the shirt which he says is best suited for Polo and not a football game.

“This season we also have a neck. A polo shirt is not a football jersey. This is aimed at all manufacturers: these shirts with collars are not good, they are uncomfortable and not at all pleasant.
“Then you have two buttons up there. You just need to add a few more buttons and we start playing with a shirt. It’s not nice.”
Kroos has been touted to be on his way out of Real Madrid as the German midfielder is yet to pen a new deal with Los Blancos with his current contract expiring in the summer.
Ancelotti defends Kroos and Modric
Meanwhile, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has come to the defence of veteran midfielders Toni Kroos and Luka Modric following constant criticisms from supporters, Marca reports.
Ancelotti described both midfielders as “world-class” players and he says he has never doubted their abilities despite rotating both stars this season.

Kroos backs controversial European Super League
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Toni Kroos has come out in support of the controversial European Super League and believes the proposed competition will one day become a reality.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Juventus are the only three clubs that remain at least publicly committed to the idea, but face plenty of scepticism on both their motives and the concept itself.
Kroos labelled UEFA as not being a good Samaritan for football and insists the idea of the proposed league should be considered.
