FootballLiverpool vs Manchester United: Erik ten Hag Could Miss Luke Shaw, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane
- Erik ten Hag could be without three of his players when he faces Liverpool in a crunch tie on March 5th
- Raphael Varane and Luke Shaw are defensive concerns with the duo set to be subjected to late fitness tests
- United will be looking to keep up the pace on the top two sides, while Liverpool are chasing a top-four finish
Three Manchester United stars will face extremely late fitness tests ahead of their blockbuster clash against Liverpool at Anfield this evening.
United will be seeking to do a double over their North West rivals and get their first win in the red side of Merseyside since 2016.
However, Erik ten Hag will have to wait and see if three of his stars will be fit enough for the test. Sport Bible reports that Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho are all concerns with different issues.
The trio might still feature but will have to be assessed again before the 1630 GMT kickoff.

Shaw and Sancho missed their comeback win against West Ham United in the FA Cup on Wednesday, but ten Hag was optimistic that the former would shrug off his knock to be ready for the Mohamed Salah test.
United's many games
The Red Devils have been involved heavily in all four competitions this season, and there is a worry that fatigue might catch up with the squad at some point.
Shaw's potential absence could be covered by Tyrell Malacia, whilst one of Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelof could partner with Lisandro Martinez at the heart of the defence should Varane fail to recover on time.
Up front, ten Hag is spoilt with options, with Alejandro Garnacho perfectly capable of covering for Sancho.
