Nigerian striker Chuba Akpom was in the best form of his life on Saturday, 4 March as he scored brace that helped his club Middlesbrough beat visiting Reading 5-0 in a Championship battle.
Akpom has been in excellent form so far this season in the Championship with many fans even engaging in discussions about him playing in the Premier League next season.
Fans are of the views that Akpom should be playing in the England topflight division and not in the second tier football.
Interestingly, Akpom has now registered 21 goals this season for Boro which is an impressive record.

Akpom breaks record
The Nigerian-born forward is now the first Boro player to score 20 plus goals in a single season.
Bernie Slavens was the last Middlesbrough player to achieve the feat in the 1989/90 season according to the report on Daily Post.
He is also the first Boro player to score 14 home goals in one season since Fabrizio Ravanelli in 1996-97 season in what is another incredible record.

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian international Victor Osimhen was nominated for the prestigious Serie A Player of the Month Award for February.
The Napoli striker scored in all four league matches in the month as the Partenopei continue their reign on top of the league standings.
Osimhen was on the score sheet against Spezia, Cremonese, Sassuolo and Empoli, helping his club to win all the matches.
The 24-year-old currently leads the scorer’s chart with 19 goals in 21 appearances.
