Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has bought a stake in Major League Soccer side Nashville SC.
The former NBA champion and his brothers and Swedish footballer, Filip Forsberg, to join the ownership of Franchise.
Nashville confirmed the new ownership on their official website, sharing their excitement to have the NBA stars.
"As Nashville Soccer Club enters its fourth season in Major League Soccer, and second at GEODIS Park, principal owner John Ingram announced today that leading scorer in Nashville Predator history Filip Forsberg and two-time MVP and NBA Champion Giannis Antetokounmpo have joined the team’s ownership group," wrote the club.

Antetokoumpo, whose father was a footballer, revealed he always had dreams of owning a club.
“My father was a professional soccer player, and it was the first sport I fell in love with in Greece,” said Antetokounmpo, as quoted by Nashvillesc.com.
“I’ve always had the dream of owning a soccer team. When my brothers and I explored Nashville SC, we knew it was a team and a city that we wanted to get involved with. I couldn’t be more excited to join the Boys in Gold, and can’t wait to come to a match at GEODIS Park soon!”
The Bucks star is one of the best players in the NBA and was recently captain of Team Giannis in the All-Star Game.

Sports Brief earlier reported that The 2023 NBA All-Star Draft is now done and dusted, with team captains LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo already selecting their respective rosters ahead of the All-Star Game.
The "Greek Freak" made a funny mistake, though, picking Ja Morant as a reserve for Team Giannis during the draft.
The NBA altered the format days before the draft, with the reserves being picked first instead of the starters, per CBS Sports.
Giannis avoids wrist injury
The Milwaukee Bucks heaved a sigh of relief on Monday, with sources telling The Athletic’s Shams Charania that Giannis Antetokounmpo has avoided serious damage in his right wrist.
The “Greek Freak” traveled to New York City one day after winning the 2023 NBA All-Star Game to get some testing done on his injured wrist.
There were concerns about Antetokounmpo’s condition after he saw little action in Sunday’s exhibition.
