The 2022 FIFA The Best Awards was held in France on February 27 and the players did not disappoint in the fashion capital of the world, Paris.
Lionel Messi, who in the past had been criticised over his wardrobe, was crowned the best player for the year under review.
However, it was the players' style of fashion on the green carpet that caught the attention of viewers, with several stars rocking designer suits.

Messi arrived at the ceremony with his wife, confidante and mother of his children, Antonella Roccuzzo in an all-black ensemble. The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner wore a bowtie on his shirt while his wife held a lovely rose flower bag.

Lionel Messi crowned best player
Sports Brief previously reported on Messi being crowned the best player of 2022 at FIFA's The Best Awards ceremony held in Paris on February 27.
The legendary Argentina forward beat his Paris Saint-Germain teammate, Mbappe and Real Madrid star, Karim Benzema to win the top award.
Messi led his country to a third World Cup title in Qatar, scoring in each of the knockout games and netting two in the final against France.
