Pop star Shakira has once again roasted her ex-partner Gerard Piqué in a new song.

Shakira and Pique, who recently announced his retirement from football, broke up in June 2022 after the former Barcelona defender was reportedly caught cheating.

Since their separation, Shakira’s music has included references to Pique, this time featuring Karol G, in which more digs have been taken at the former Barcelona defender.

The song, titled TQG (Te Quedo Grande), appears to have multiple references to Pique, as noted by Football Espana:

“Seeing you with the new girl hurt me, but I’m now set on me. I’ve forgotten what we lived together, and that’s what you’re offended by.

"And even my life got better, you are no longer welcome here. And what your girlfriend slayed at me, that doesn’t anger me, it makes me laugh.”

Pique entered a new relationship with his new girlfriend Clara Chia just a few months after the split from Shakira and the defender has faced heavy backlash from Paparazzi in Spain.

Meanwhile, Gerard Piqué and his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti put on yet another amorous display while attending a wedding together on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain last week.

It comes after it was reported that Gerard's ex Shakira was furious after the father of her children went public with his new girlfriend, despite making a pact to wait a year before doing so, Daily Mail reports.

It is now all over. The romantic union between popular musician Shakira and Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has come to an end. Pique was allegedly caught cheating and the couple has been leading separate lives for quite a while now.

They have been together since 2010 and their union was blessed with two children, Milan and Sasha.

A statement from the public relations agency of Shakira has confirmed the incident as quoted by the Mirror.

The pair remain unmarried, though their 12-year relationship has brought them two children.

Shakira has offered to take full responsibility of the couple’s kids, Sasha and Milan, as she plans to take them to Miami afterwards.
