Twin daughters of former Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi have been spotted in tennis court playing the game which could be an indication that they are not fans of football.

Mikel was one of the best midfielders to have come out of Africa considering his styles of play both in the national team and all the clubs he played for before he retired.

The 35-year-old had the most successful run of his career at Chelsea where he won the Premier League title, Champions League and other trophies.

He was also among the Super Eagles players who won the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.

Ordinarily, one would expect Mikel's kids to follow their father's footsteps, but seeing them in the tennis court tells another story angle.

The game of tennis is also one of the biggest in the world of sports.

According to Mikel's Instagram story, the two daughters were seen putting on white dresses while playing the game of tennis.

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Former Nigerian international Mikel Obi disclosed that he is one of the luckiest Nigerians to play football at the very top.

The former Chelsea of England defensive midfielder shared his journey to stardom with some youths who converged at Wave Beach in Lagos during the Vyootopia Mission89 Africa digital sports conference 2022.

Mikel, who had 91 caps and six goals for the Super Eagles, was the 'personality spotlight' at the well-attended event, themed - 'Adopting new technologies in digital sports and increasing opportunities for African youth in the sports industry'.

The 35-year-old also offered tips for a successful footballing career, as he admitted that he was one of the luckiest Nigerians to have played football at the highest level.
