Cameroon Fail To Join Nigeria As Haiti Completes 32 Team 2023 Women’s World Cup Roster

Cameroon's female national team have crashed out of the final play-off game losing against Portugal 2-1 on Wednesday, February 22, which means that they won't be participating in the 2023 Women's World Cup.

The Indomitable Lionesses went into this game against the Portuguese with hopes of them qualifying for the competition, but the Europeans were more determined in the duel.

They will have to go back to the drawing board and correct their mistakes so as for them to qualify for future competitions.

On the other hand, Panama became the 32nd and final team to pick their ticket after defeating Paraguay 1-0 in the final qualifying play-off in New Zealand.

Haiti have also qualified for the World Cup after beating Chile 2-1 in their own play-off.

When will World Cup start?

The 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup will kick off on July 20, coming to an end on August 20th.

The Nigerian women's team will be representing Africa in the tournament alongside South Africa, Morocco and Zambia according to the report on Ckdmedia.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group B where they will meet Australia, the Republic of Ireland and Canada.
