Klopp defends Vinicius Jr from racist abuse

Meanwhile, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted nothing in the world can justify the racial abuse being suffered by Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior, Marca reports.

Klopp had to speak in defence of the Real Madrid forward after a journalist suggested that some of the player's actions on the pitch might have invited such abuse.

The Brazilian forward has endured repeated racist taunts in recent weeks, with Atletico Madrid supporters hanging an effigy of him from a highway bridge before the derby and being caught on video singing a racist chant about him.

Real Madrid turns down €135million to sell Vinicius

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Real Madrid has again demonstrated that the Santiago Bernabeu is the home for the best football talents on the planet and will not be forced to sell their best stars.

The La Liga giants proved that again after turning down a whopping €135million offer from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain for winger Vinicius Junior.

The French club desperately wanted the signing, but Madrid's president Florentino Perez outrightly denied it.
