Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is one of the most in-form players in Europe and one of Arsenal's most important players this season as they chase their first Premier League title in 19 years.

He has featured in 17 goal contributions this season, scoring nine himself and assisting eight others, leading Mikel Arteta's team in goal contribution and proving why he is indispensable.

He scored Arsenal's first goal, an equaliser, on Saturday in the 4-2 win over Aston Villa, managed by former boss Unai Emery who gave Saka his debut. He also debuted a new goal celebration.

The 21-year-old took to his social media pages after the match and uploaded a picture of himself and Henry. He captioned it ''honouring the king''.

Arteta issues update on Saka's injury

The England international has become a target for opponents. He went down injured in the match against Villa and received strappings from the medics but still completed 90 minutes. Arteta has allayed fears of anything serious, as reported by Evening Standard.

“[Saka]’s fine - he got kicked quite a lot again. But he’s going to have to deal with that, not every week, but every three days. Sometimes in training as well. It’s his game - teams are not stupid and they want to stop him. We need to protect him,” he said.

Saka matches Henry's record

Sports Brief earlier reported that Bukayo Saka matched Henry's record by scoring in three consecutive matches against Manchester United.

He spoke ahead of the 3-2 win over Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium, and when he was reminded of the record, he accepted the challenge.

He put the Gunners level in the match after Marcus Rashford had put the Red Devils ahead earlier and Eddie Nketiah equalised.
