Southampton players to buy new manager special gift after win over Chelsea
FootballFans Blast Chelsea Players As They Appear Disinterested Before Southampton Loss Amid Graham Potter’s Struggles
- Chelsea players are on the receiving end of criticism on social media as the club's poor form continues
- The Blues sunk to a new low on Saturday after bottom-placed Southamoton beat them at Stamford Bridge
- Fans online have interpreted a video of the players as a group and say the team appears disinterested
It is no secret that Chelsea is currently enduring one of the worst runs in the club's history as Graham Potter grapples to churn out good results.
Two wins in 15 games doesn't augur well for a club that has made it their sole business to invest in their squad over the past two transfer windows.
Many times, the coach will always be blamed when the team fails to perform. Potter's predecessor, Thomas Tuchel was sacked at the earliest sign of a dip in form.
The English manager is now undergoing the same rough patch, even worse than the German did, with a quick look online showing Chelsea fans calling for his dismissal.

Potter's woes at Chelsea
The former Brighton manager has called for calm as he continues to work and integrate the club's new signings into his philosophy.
However, the latest defeat against bottom-placed Southampton left a sour taste in the mouths of many Chelsea faithful.
But even before Potter's tactics and team selections - or lack thereof - are scrutinised, a video uploaded by the Blues' official account has shown the players appearing disinterested minutes before warming up for the Saints' visit on February 18th.
Club captain, Cesar Azpilicueta is seen trying to psyche up the team minutes before they step into the pitch, but the players fail to respond as required.

FootballFans have now taken issue with their 'defeated' body language.

"Nah it looks like they’re being forced to work for free doing something that can’t stand. My brothers, you are getting paid millions to play football in front of 40 000. You should be buzzing every game."
@HKSaratov said:
"Disgraceful. None of them look up for it."
@bradballard said:
"As a United fan, I recognize that look. Every game during the Rangnick era. Not optimistic about Potter lasting the rest of the season."
Chelsea's stance on Graham Potter
Sports Brief also reported on the Chelsea board reportedly having no intention of sacking Potter, despite the club's underwhelming run of results so far.
The Blues' manager has come under immense scrutiny since he succeeded Thomas Tuchel at the helm of Stamford Bridge back in September last year.
The former Brighton and Newcastle boss has been unable to steady the ship at the club, with the English club managing just one win in 10 outings.
