Ghana and Hatayspor winger, Christian Atsu Twasam has reportedly been found dead following the earthquake in Turkey.
The Black Stars winger sadly passed away 12 days after being trapped under rubble following the devastating earthquake that hit the city of Hatay. He died at the age of 31.
According to the player's Turkish manager, Murat Uzunmehmet, Atsu was pulled out of the wreckage dead.
"Christian Atsu was found and unfortunately passed away," he wrote on Twitter.

The former Newcastle United and Chelsea player scored the winner in his last game for Hatayspor as they defeated Kasimpasa.
Few hours after the match, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit the city of Hatay where the player plies his trade. Atsu together with the club's Sporting Director Taner Savut were missing for days leading to increased rescue efforts in the apartment they were lodging.
Meanwhile, Atsu last played for the Black Stars of Ghana in 2019 at the Africa Cup of Nations. He had a temporal break from the team as he revealed he wanted to concentrate on club football.
The 31-year-old started his career in Ghana with Cheetah FC before moving to Porto in 2009, starting with the youth team before joining the senior side in 2011.
His explosive performances in the Primeira Liga earned him a move to English giants Chelsea. He spent most of his time on loan while being on the books of Chelsea.
Atsu moved to Newcastle United in 2017 before a brief spell in Saudi Arabia with Al Raed.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that agent to Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu, Nana Sechere, has revealed that the search for the player continues nine days after being trapped under rubble.
Atsu and team manager of Hatayspor Taner Savut are yet to be accounted despite increased rescue efforts.
According to Sechere, the team of rescuers have been able to reach the building the player was in and a pair of shoes belonging to the winger has been found.
