Former Manchester City and England defender, Joleon Lescott believes talented Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana will be a hit in the Premier League.
Sulemana joined the Saints in the winter transfer window from French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais.
The 21-year-old is expected to play a key role as the St Mary's outfit battle for survival in the English topflight league.
Lescott believes that will put some pressure on the Ghanaian but remains confident the Right to Dream Academy graduate will meet expectations.

“It is tough [playing for a club battling relegation]. There’ll be an expectation, but I’m sure the expectation the club and everyone else puts on him won’t be the same as he puts on himself. I’m sure he expects and hopes to do well, so hopefully that’s the case for him,” Lescott told Joy Sports as quoted by GHANASoccernet.
“It’s not a short term project. They haven’t signed him just for the last six months of the season. The model that Southampton are using is similar to that of Dortmund, in regards to trying to recruit younger players to try develop them so I’m sure that’s the case with him and sure he just wants to play.
“The opportunity to play in the Premier League – regardless of who it’s for, is a big opportunity for everyone so hopefully he does well and shines a great light on Ghanaian football.”

Sulemana dazzles on Southampton full debut
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian forward, Kamaldeen Sulemana gave fans of Southampton a taste of his explosive pace during the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Saints on transfer deadline day, was handed his full debut after starting against Wolves at the Saint Mary's.
Sulemana was a threat for Wolves and came close to scoring in the first half.
