FootballBritish Presenter Says Rashford Is Not World-Class Despite Form for Manchester United
- Marcus Rashford has been in the form of his life since the 2022 FIFA World Cup
- The English forward scored against Barcelona in the Europa League yesterday
- A British presenter has now made a ridiculous claim about the 25-year-old star
Marcus Rashford was settling into life under new manager, Erik ten Hag before he left for the World Cup in Qatar with England in December.
He excelled at the Mundial, scoring three goals for the Three Lions.
Rashford's form since the end of the World Cup has been immense, scoring in all but one of the games he has played for United since then, standing out as the primary threat in attack.
He helped the Red Devils to a draw against Barcelona (February 16) in the round of 16 play-offs of the UEFA Europa League.

Despite this, a British presenter seems not to be impressed with the forward's form and the adoration from fans.
Jordan dispels Rashford's world-class tag
With his goal at Camp Nou on Thursday, the 25-year-old United academy graduate equalled his best season goal tally of 22 set in the 2019/20 season, as reported by talkSPORT.
He has been hailed by many as world-class due to his form since December, but Simon Jordan thinks it is still to early brand Rashford with that tag after a few months of good performances.
“You’re seeing Marcus Rashford in this ridiculous vein of form. What I have always pushed back against is the characterisation that he is a world-class player and that he is in an elite position,” he said on talkSPORT, as quoted by Daily Star.
“I think he is a very good player. You do not get to play for Manchester United, in whatever guise they are, if you are not a very good player. But I don’t think he is [world-class].”

FootballArsenal interested in Marcus Rashford
The England international has been the subject of controversial headlines this week. Sports Brief earlier reported Arsenal are interested in the Manchester United academy graduate.
The news came off as a laughing stock to many United fans who claimed it was either a joke from Arsenal or there was never any interest at all from the North London club.
Rashford and United are in a contract standoff. His current contract expires in 2024 and there is yet to be an agreement over a new one, but there are confidence he will stay.
