South Africa 2010 FIFA World Cup winner with Spain, Fernando Llorente has announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 37, months after being without a club since his Sociedad Deportiva Eibar contract expired.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker had quite a nomadic career, playing for many clubs in three countries, including his home country of Spain, plus Italy and England.
He scored the goal that helped Spurs beat Manchester City on aggregate en route to their 2019 UEFA Champions League final appearance and his 15 goals also helped Swansea avoid relegation in his only season at the Welsh club.
Llorente reveals his next venture
The former Juventus star confirmed he was done with football and revealed he would keep fit on the court with a sport enjoying growing popularity in Spain.

As reported by The Boot Room, he was present in the home stands at his former club, Tottenham's 1-0 victory over Man City weeks ago.
As reported by Sun UK, he was asked on live TV if he would make an appearance on the pitch again and he responded:
"No, no. Now I have everything clear. I continue to keep fit by playing padel."
