Paris Saint-Germain defender, Sergio Ramos has opened up on how 'everything went wrong' on the back of his departure from Real Madrid.

The Spaniard swapped Madrid for Paris in 2021, bringing an end to a trophy-laden 16-year-stint with Los Blancos.

The centre-back endured a torrid start to life in his new environment, missing a lot of last season with injuries, but has since turned a corner to become a key cog in the heart of PSG's defensive unit.

Considered one of the best defenders of his era, Ramos - who is starting to feel confident - at a point in time questioned his move to PSG during his early struggles.

"Leaving Real Madrid was a very big change," he began as quoted by Madrid Xtra. "Everything went wrong after the move. I got injured, and it was very difficult for me to recover and adapt to the new team. I started to doubt if I had done the right thing or not."

Meanwhile, Ramos will be looking forward to transferring his enormous success in the Champions League to PSG, as they prepare to face Bayern Munich on Tuesday, per BFW.
