Joseph Paintsil could miss Ghana's upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Angola next month after picking up an injury while playing for KRC Genk.
The Black Stars forward suffered a shoulder injury during the match against Royal Antwerp and had to be replaced in the 81st minute.
The pacy winger, who has scored ten goals and provided ten assists in the Belgium First Division A League, is set to undergo a scan to determine the extent of his injury.
Paintsil was replaced by Angelo Preciado on Sunday as the Belgium league leaders lost narrowly to the in-form Royal Antwerp.

"Painful defeat yesterday with an unfortunate shoulder injury. Thanks for the well-wishing messages. Hoping to be back stronger," Paintsil wrote on Twitter.
The extent of his injury could determine whether he will be available for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month against Angola.
Having missed the World Cup in Qatar, the 25-year-old is hoping to make a return to the national team following his blistering form in Europe.
Ghana will play Angola in a two-legged game.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana forward, Joseph Paintsil celebrated his 25th birthday with a goal after scoring in KRC Genk's draw on the road against KAS Eupen in the Belgium League.
