Referees in a Cameroonian MTN Elite Two league game between Unisport FC de Bafang and Victoria United were brutally attacked before the match ended.
Fans of Unisport swarmed onto the pitch after the centre referee awarded a 92nd minute penalty to the away team.
The referees were then savagely attacked by furious supporters, forcing the match to end before the final whistle was blown.
In a video shared on social media, hundreds of fans rushed onto the pitch immediately after the referee awarded the penalty, forcing officials to run for their lives.

Unisport were leading the game before the unfortunate incident occurred.
The Cameroon Football Federation is yet to issue a response to the barbaric act which happened on Sunday.
