Ogenyi Onazi has disclosed that he and former teammates in the Super Eagles fought and disagreed in South Africa before going on to win the 2013 African Cup of Nations.
Ten years after Stephen Keshi led the Super Eagles of Nigeria to conquer Africa, Onazi has now spoken about how it all went down before they emerged champions.
Going into the competition, Nigeria was not rated as the likes of Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso tipped to win the title in South Africa.
To make the matters worse, Nigeria drew their first two games in the tournament which made many fans think they won't make it to the knockout stages.

How did it happened?
Nigeria started their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Burkina Faso in a game that Onazi made his AFCON debut, and they also drew against Zambia in second game.
A 2-0 win over Ethiopia in their last group game gave the Super Eagles the ticket to the knockout.
Speaking to Punch, Onazi claimed that the journey was tough for them adding that the AFCON title remains the biggest in his career.

Onazi steps out in style
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how few days after joining Bahrain Premier League club, East Riffa, Nigerian international Ogenyi Onazi stepped out in style showing off his expensive Audi supercar.
Onazi is one of the Nigerian players whose love for expensive automobiles knows no bound considering the number of cars he has in his garage.
The former Lazio man joined the Bahrainain outfit from Italian Serie D club, Casertana FC where he last played.
