Ademola Lookman has finally cleared the air over his decision to choose the Super Eagles of Nigeria over England, claiming he has no regret playing for the west African nation.
The Atalanta forward was born in London to Nigerian parents and was eligible to play for the Three Lions but decided instead to represent the three-time African champions.
Despite playing for England at a youth level, Lookman snubbed the Europeans for international duties and joined the Super Eagles.
So far for the Nigerian team, Lookman has featured in six games, netting one goal.

According to the report by the Daily Post, the winger stood by his decision as the best step for his career.
Lookman on choosing Nigeria
“I have no regrets; I took the right decision. This is my career. I want to play for Nigeria and am proud of this. I was born in England, but my family is from Nigeria and I have a strong bond with both countries.”
Speaking to Sports Brief on the performances of Lookman, Super Eagles coordinator, Pascal Patrick explained the 25-year-old has been in wonderful form.
''Lookman is a calm and nice player, and he is someone who makes the camp bubble because he associates with everyone. We are proud to have him, and we look forward to seeing him play more games for us.''

Sports Brief also reported on Nigerian stars, Lookman and Victor Osimhen being nominated for the Serie A 'January Player of the Month' award.
The two Super Eagles stars are currently the shining lights in the Italian top flight, as they keep netting goals for their clubs across all competitions.
Interestingly, Osimhen and Lookman also top the Serie A goalscoring chart, with one of them being tipped to end up winning the league's Golden Boot.
