As far as Royal AM coach, John Maduka is concerned, Andile Mpisane can break through into the first team's starting line-up.
The 21-year-old club chairman put on a disastrous performance last Saturday, when he started as captain of the DStv Diski Challenge team which drew 1-1 against AmaZulu.
He is yet to make an official appearance for the senior team, despite being on the bench throughout the season.
Coach Maduka said to the Sunday World:

Football“He’s still young and he is a talented player. He’s got the potential, you can’t run away from that. For us to be where we are, we started somewhere. So, we give opportunities to everyone who raises up their hands and says ‘I can do that’."
Maduka said he strongly believed the chairman had the potential and was talented.
"We chose a team on merit; whoever does well at training, will play. He does train with the team.”
Andile Mpisane does not seem to be playing for Royal AM's senior team anytime soon, if the club chairman's performance last Saturday is anything to go by.
He was selected as the DStv Diski Challenge team's captain in a KwaZulu-Natal derby match against AmaZulu, with senior coach, Khabo Zondo watching him in action.
Zondo benched Mpisane all season, with the chairman's case not helped by his eventual subbing on the hour mark in a match that would end in a 1-1 draw.

FootballOff the field of play, Mpisane can never be faulted for his sense of style, Sports Brief also reported.
The Royal AM chairman posted to Instagram about a fresh pair of boots given to him by sports apparel company, Puma.
Earlier this season, Mpisane made an infamous cameo off the bench for Thwihli Thwahla as they defeated Kaizer Chiefs in the Macufe Cup.
