Marseille manager, Igor Tudor has weighed in on the absence of Kylian Mbappe ahead of his side's titanic French Cup tie with Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.
The French star sustained a thigh injury during PSG's Ligue 1 clash against Montpellier on February 1, ruling him out of the French version of El Clasico, dubbed Le Classique.
According to a club statement, the 24-year-old is expected to be unavailable for three weeks, missing key games against their fierce rivals and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Mbappe's absence has since not taken a negative toll on PSG's results, with Christophe Galtier's charges sealing a narrow 2-1 win.

Ahead of Les Parisiens' next assignment in the French Cup, Tudor believes the unavailability of Mbappe is a blessing in disguise for Marseille.
“Absence of Mbappé against Marseille? Mbappé is currently the best player in the world, with all the respect I have for other players," he said, as quoted by PSG Report.
"Obviously, it’s an advantage but there are other decisive players who can change the course of the match.”
Kylian Mbappe suffers thigh injury
PSG have suffered a huge blow, with Mbappe set to miss the upcoming UEFA Champions League knockout stage with an injury.
The 23-year-old suffered a thigh injury during his side's Ligue 1 clash against Montpellier on Thursday night.
The Frenchman hooked off in the 21st minute with an apparent leg injury, after colliding with a Montpellier defender.

Meanwhile, Julian Nagelsmann is taking the news of Mbappe's injury with a pinch of salt, Sports Brief also reported.
The attacker has been ruled out of the UEFA Champions League clash with Bayern Munich, after picking up an injury.
But according to Marca, the Bavarians' coach does not foresee Mbappe missing a huge game like the UCL encounter.
