Raul Gonzalez’s love for Real Madrid reached new heights after the former Spain forward chose to stay with the Spanish champions’ B-team than move to the English Premier League.
Real Madrid’s third all-time goal scorer rejected the chance to become the next Leeds United manager after the club sacked American Jesse Marsch this week.
According to AS Sport, Raul who is currently in the midst of a promotion race with Real Madrid Castilla does not want to leave the club in the middle of the season.

Castilla are currently second in Primera Federation Group I behind only Alcorcón, with whom they drew against this weekend.

Meanwhile, Raul Gonzalez has been tipped as one of the candidates to replace veteran Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti when he finally leaves the Spanish champions, Football Espana reports.
Ancelotti has a contract with Los Blancos until 2024 and is widely expected not to renew his contract with Real Madrid and Raul has been widely tipped to be his successor.
Raul will however have to contend with Ancelotti’s son, Davide who has also been lined up for the Real Madrid managerial job when it becomes vacate.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Jesse Marsch was sacked as Leeds manager on Monday after the American failed to halt the struggling club's slide towards the Premier League relegation zone.
Leeds' 1-0 loss at Nottingham Forest on Sunday left them just one place above the bottom three after seven league games without a win.
Leeds last won in the Premier League on November 5, a dismal run that prompted Leeds fans to call for Marsch to be sacked after the Forest defeat.
