Real Madrid suffered another loss in La Liga at RCD Mallorca after Nacho Fernandez's own goal early in the first half condemned the Los Blancos to their third defeat.

The attention once again was Vinicius Junior, who was fouled a total of 10 times during the cagey tie at Son Moix on Sunday afternoon.

The Brazilian star was a constant threat and won the penalty on the hour mark, which was eventually missed by teammate Marco Asensio.

The electrifying winger also created numerous chances for his teammates in the second half, however, he was involved in a number of run-ins with Mallorca defenders too.

According to reports by popular Spanish TV show El Chiringuito, noted by Football Espana, Mallorca defenders Pablo Maffeo and Antonio Raillo were among the players out to mark Vinicius.

The reports further suggest that Vinicius told the Spanish duo that they were 'very bad', in what was perhaps a reference to their abilities on the pitch.

The forward reportedly added: "when you finish football you will have to look for another job because you will never have as much money as me."

La Liga investigate Vinicius' racial abuse

Meanwhile, La Liga have once again announced that they will investigate racial abuse levelled at Vinicius Juniors.

The Real Madrid attacker was targeted by fans and players of Mallorca during Los Blancos' last fixture.

As noted by Managing Madrid, the league will conduct an investigation into who was responsible for racist chants heard within the stadium. La Liga has previously opened investigations into other incidents of racism directed at the player, but none of these investigations have produced any results as yet.

Vini previously accused La Liga of doing little to solve the issue, and he's not the only one.

Former French international, Lilian Thuram said that Vinicius needed to be respected more, Marca reported, while Carlo Ancelotti also called for the player to be protected more as opposition players constantly try to antagonise him.

The Real Madrid attacker was signing autographs when Mallorca fans hurled insults at him.

As reported by Sports Brief earlier, fans called the Brazilian a big mouth and an idiot, while also praising the players who fouled him during the game.
