Football fans in Nigeria have been thrown into a state of deep mourning, following the untimely and shocking death of CD Madridejos youngster, Ado Bala Hadi.
The Nigerian forward was on the pitch for his club in Spain against SP Cabanillas in Tercera División Group 18, when he suddenly fell down in the 39th minute.
The match official immediately signalled for the medical team to rush onto the pitch, but their efforts to revive him proved futile, with the Nigerian player confirmed dead minutes later.
According to the report by The Nation, Hadi did not have any health complaints before the match and appeared to be in good health.

His death remains a nightmare for his teammates, officials from his club, his family, his fans and the Spanish league body, which has launched an investigation into the circumstances of his passing.
Which league was Hadi playing?
CD Madridejos, a club founded in 1968, are currently campaigning in the fifth tier of the Spanish football league system.
This competition sits below the Primera Division, the Segunda División, and the semi-professional divisions of the Primera Federación and Segunda Federacion.
Pillars official on Hadi's passing
Speaking to Sports Brief on the death of Hadi, Kano Pillars media officer, Idris Malikawa revealed the late footballer was at Pillars for trials before he left the country.
''It is unfortunate that we have lost him and I pray that Allah should forgive him and grant him eternal rest. Before he left Nigeria, he came to Pillars from Jigawa and we even wanted to sign him before the Spain deal came for him.''

Previously, Sports Brief reported on a Nigerian footballer collapsing and dying while playing at the Green Field Football Ground in the Lekki area of Lagos.
The 31-year-old, who was identified only as Kingsley, died at about 6.30pm on September 30 last year.
At the time, he appeared totally exhausted and fell to the ground, with his playing teammates not immediately noticing he had collapsed.
