Borussia Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi has become popular for his involvement in the team's celebration, for all the wrong reasons.

What happened to Adeyemi?

The 21-year-old hilariously tried to jump onto the back of a few teammates during the goal celebrations against SC Freiburg but toppled over the other side. He could then be seen gingerly getting up and rejoining his teammates. The incident happened after Sebastian Haller scored Dortmund's third goal.

Haller opens his account

While Adeyemi's fall did prove to be a hilarious moment, it didn't take away from the real talking point; Haller's first goal for the side.

The Ivory Coast international has scored in friendly games for the Bundesliga side but never a professional goal since his return from a cancer scare.

Dortmund run riot

Adeyemi and Haller both got onto the scoresheet as Dortmund continue their impressive run of form. The Black and Yellow secured a 5-1 victory over Freiburg, the BBC reported.

The win means that Dortmund are third on the Bundesliga table, level on points with Bayern Munich. Munich have a game in hand though.

Union Berlin leads the way but they have also played a game more than Bayern.
