Super Eagles of Nigeria have gotten the approval of the Confederation of African Football to play their home games in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers at the Akpabio stadium in Uyo and MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja.
Nigeria who are three-time African champions are currently topping their qualifying group with six points having defeated Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe.
With the two wins, the road for qualification now looks good for the Super Eagles, but Jose Peseiro and his wards must make sure they finish the job.
Many fans have not forgotten about the failure of the Nigerian team to qualify for the 2022 World Cup losing the ticket to Ghana.

According to the report on Complete Sports, actions in the qualifiers will resume in March with Nigerian playing a double header against Guinea- Bissau.
